Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, will hold the 2024 Korea-Latin America Future Cooperation Forum in Seoul for two days from June 10.

The event, themed “Partnering for Joint Growth and Improved Livelihoods,” will bring together more than 200 people, including senior officials of governments of Latin American countries and international organizations, academia, think tanks and businesses.

At the forum, the participants will shed light on common global challenges facing Korea and Latin America and discuss in depth ways for the two regions to achieve joint growth through substantive cooperation in economy and security.
