1. Amb. Lee Do-hoon, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spoke over the phone with Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Maria Schmid on the afternoon of June 26 at the request of the EU, and shared their assessments of the current situation on the Korean Peninsula.

2. The two sides agreed to continue close communication and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the EU despite the impact of the COVID-19 situation.
