1. The Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for Northeast Asian Affairs Lee Sang-deok will meet with Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau Junichi Ihara of the Japanese Foreign Ministry in Tokyo on January 19 to discuss the issue of sexual slavery victims drafted for Japan’s Imperial Army during World War II.

2. The two sides have had five rounds of the meeting, with the first of its kind held on April 16, 2014.
